• Active acne, cold sores, or skin infections
• Open wounds or irritated skin in the treatment area
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding (unless cleared by a doctor)
• Use of Accutane in the last 6–12 months
• History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
• Blood clotting disorders or use of blood thinners
• Autoimmune diseases or compromised immune system
• Recent Botox, fillers, or cosmetic procedures (wait 1–2 weeks)
• Diabetes (if poorly controlled)
• Cancer treatments (currently undergoing chemo or radiation)
• Avoid retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, and exfoliants for 3–5 days before
• No Botox, fillers, or other cosmetic treatments for at least 2 weeks prior
• Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 3–5 days before treatment
• Discontinue blood-thinning medications/supplements if advised by your doctor
• Stay well-hydrated and arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
• Let your provider know about any recent illness, breakouts, or medication changes
• No makeup for 24 hours and wash your makeup brushes before next use
• Avoid sun exposure; wear SPF daily
• Use only gentle cleanser and moisturizer for 3–5 days
• No exfoliants, retinoids, or active ingredients for 5–7 days
• Avoid sweating, hot showers, saunas, and workouts for 24–48 hours
• Do not touch, pick, or scratch the skin
• Stay hydrated and keep the skin moisturized
